Since graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2008 Rob has lived and worked around Birmingham and the Midlands as a multi-instrumentalist playing Trombone, Double Bass and Electric Bass. He has also been involved in educational projects around Birmingham and also in Dumfries, Scotland.
On Bass Rob has been fortunate enough to play with many rising jazz musicians including John Randall, Alex Merritt, Dan Nichols, Freddie Gavita, Adam Jackson and Ben Bryden to name a few! In April 2009 he was also lucky enough to play in the UK quartet of legendary saxophonist Carlos Garnett, and in May toured with acclaimed Irish singer Camille O'Sullivan.
Trombone credits include the Conservatoires UK Big Band, Mike Fletcher's "More Or Less Ensemble", Sid Peacock's "Surge", the Shrewsbury Big Band, Aaron Diaz's "ZappaJazz", the Huw Rees Octet and various other ensembles largely based around the Midlands.
